The Chalambar Motel is a family run business which sits off Highway A8 on the outskirts of Ararat. This relaxed motel is 1.8 kilometres from the city centre, two kilometres from the Ararat Golf Course and 2.1 kilometres from the J Ward Museum, set in a former prison for the criminally insane. Featuring modern decor and artwork, the 12 airy rooms include two spacious family rooms, eight comfortable queen rooms and two twin singles. Relax in comfort with complimentary Wi-Fi in addition to mini-fridges, microwaves, split-system air conditioning and tea and coffee making facilities. Connecting rooms and continental breakfasts are available on request. All rooms provide double glazing to ensure our customers a peaceful nights rest.
